Q: Differences between Invertek Optidrive E3 and Imoticon ID700 inverter drives?
A: The Invertek Optidrive E3 is a general purpose inverter drive with a fairly basic parameter set, whereas the Imoticon ID700 is a general purpose inverter drive with a more comprehensive parameter set, allowing for more complex application set up.
The Optidrive E3 has a basic parameter set only, this is designed to make the inverter easy to set up and to operate. The parameter set is designed in such a way as to cater for the majority of simple applications. The E3 also comes in IP66 and single phase output variants.
The Imoticon ID700 has a very comprehensive parameter set, allowing for fairly complex set ups. This means the ID700 can be applied to more complex applications. For example all the ID700s control terminals are fully user programable. The ID700 also has more control terminals and a more extensive PID control loop, that is again fully programable.
The additional programing features make the ID700 a more flexible product but slightly more difficult to set up.
